What is TGL?

TGL is run by TMRW Sports, a technology-focused sports company cofounded by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy.

The six teams of four players will compete against each other in a league format. Only three players compete in one event.

At the time of publication, only five teams have been announced.

The league has attracted investment from a number of high-profile sports stars such as NBA star Stephen Curry and tennis legend Serena Williams. Billionaires have also invested.

TGL will be played indoors at the Sofi Center. ESPN broadcasts will last around two hours. Players will be mic'd up. The venue holds approximately 1,600 spectators.
