Ben Smith

Ben joined GolfMagic as Content Executive in September 2021 just before the Ryder Cup and has contributed significantly to the growth of the site. Ben now assumes our Content Manager role, specialising in PGA Tour, DP World Tour and LIV Golf content. He also writes features and opinion pieces on the game's biggest talking points. Ben achieved a Gold Standard NCTJ Diploma at News Associates, the No.1 journalism course in the UK. Before joining GolfMagic, Ben's previous roles included working in the regional press reporting on his favourite football team Reading FC before working for the national media as a court reporter at the Old Bailey. Ben is a massive golf fan and plays off a handicap of 10.3 at his home course, Royal Ascot Golf Club. His favourite golfers are Rory McIlroy, Jordan Spieth and Max Homa.
