PGA Tour golfer and International Presidents Cup team member Ben An says he 'couldn't give a f---' about the criticism he received for calling out Wyndham Clark.

An hit the headlines last week after the PGA Tour posted a video of the American team celebrating Patrick Cantlay's winning putt against Tom Kim and Si Woo Kim in their Saturday foursomes match at the biennial contest.

Undoubtedly, the highlight of that match at Royal Montreal arrived on the 16th hole when Si Woo Kim chipped in from an impossible position to level things up.

The South Korean went ballistic and ran around the green mimicking Stephen Curry's 'night-night' celebration.

But the American team and the aforementioned Clark had the last laugh.

Clark decided to mirror the Curry celebration towards the Kims after Cantlay held an electric putt in near darkness to take the point.

An, 33, then called out Clark on X by writing: "You always have a guy in your group who doesn't do s--- but talks s--- all day."

He deleted the post and apologised.

"I want to be a better person than that," he wrote.

Yesterday (Tues), a user on the platform suggested An only backtracked because of the criticism he received.

An disagreed and explained why he deleted the post.

"I put it down because my wife suggested to take it down," he wrote.

"I thought I was doing the same stuff as what Wyndham was doing.

"Also I didn't want to create a 'scene' about it before the singles match.

"I couldn't give a single f--- about the criticism I received."

Jim Furyk's Team USA ultimately won their 10th consecutive Presidents Cup on Sunday in Canada.

The final score was 18 ½ - 11 ½.

Keegan Bradley, the 2025 U.S. Ryder Cup captain, clinched the decisive point.

Clark's singles match against Min Woo Lee finished all square.

An also shared a point with Sahith Theegala.

Clark went 1-2-1 for the week whereas An scored 1-1-1.
